In mild forms the skin is dry and itchy but it can also be very severe causing the skin to become broken and infected. However children in 60-70% of cases grow out of this condition by adulthood. Eczema over the years has been on the increase. Babies are born with an acute sense of smell. After birth the sense of smell is one of the first things that bonds the child to its parents. An hour after birth a newborn can recognise the scent of its mothers milk. This scent will also provide comfort and reasurrance to them. Over time, certain scents become comforting because they are familiar and this may be why older children often prefer that their security objects remain unwashed. After spending a long time researching scents I wanted our fragrance to be not only natural but one that the whole family could love .
